A MUSE, AN ISPIRATION...

 

 

I've followed Blair Waldorf, the most popular Gossip Girl character played by the gorgeous actress Leighton Meester, since 2007, when the CW transmit the show's first season.

 

Since the first episode, Pilot, I've known that it wouldn't be a simple hobby: Upper East Side, luxury cars, grand parties, intrigue worthy of a espionage series , but mostly clothes, wonderful, amazing and stratospheric clothes.

 

Blair immediately caught my attention. A misunderstood girl with a trivial boyfriend that didn't deserve her, extremely brilliant, mean, beautiful, oversize intelligent, with a wardrobe that inspired the every girls' dreams : the perfection.

 

Now, in its sixth and final season, i look back and remember every single year spent with Gossip Girl: 6 seasons of ups and downs, exciting the first three, a little too extreme and articulated the latest, but six seasons in which I'm fond of the characters, their lives on the Upper East Side, but also to their style.
The show gave us many beautiful images of the most incredible city in the world, the city par excellence: New York. A city that lives, grows with its inhabitants, that works perfectly as a framework for a show in symbiosis with the places in which it was filmed.
I dedicate a tribute to the best of all, Blair Waldorf, who, with her  bon ton  and impeccable style, her class, her elegance, her temperament and her determination inspired me for 6 years, and taught me not to never give up, as well as to dress ;)
